Mike Canney

Mike Canney has a wealth of experience in the program and product management, sales engineering, training and vendor/partner/client relationship management sectors. Mike has worked for a number of companies, beginning in 1993 with Household International as a Senior Manager of Marketing Operations. In 1999, they joined IBM as a Senior Management Consultant, where they established the Siebel Marketing and Epiphany Customer Relationship Management practices. In 2005, Canney moved to Wells Fargo as a VP of the Project Management Office, where they developed processes and technical capabilities to increase online banking application completion rates, self-service, cross-sales and retention. Mike then joined Barclays in 2007 as the Head of UK Cards Program Delivery, where they were an Executive Committee member and successfully turned around the credit card business. In 2009, Canney moved to HSBC UK Commercial Bank as the Head of Solutions Delivery, responsible for launching salesforce management and marketing information systems for the Business Banking team's 2,000+ relationship managers. From 2012 to 2016, Canney worked as an independent contractor for CreditShop, Inc. in Austin, TX, leading Marketing Operations activities. Finally, from 2016 onwards, Canney has been VP of Program Management at Customer Engagement Technologies, where they have been implementing mobile, cloud-based fintech, featuring payment processing, communication and loyalty solutions, for business and government.

Mike Canney holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland, where they double majored in Finance and Marketing, and minored in Computer Science.
