Joshua Fredell

Joshua Fredell currently serves as Senior Vice President at CVS Health, overseeing PBM, Payor & Life Science Solutions since February 2014. Previously, Joshua held roles as Vice President of Product Development and Senior Director within CVS Caremark Corporation, which has been a part of Joshua's career since July 2003. Joshua's expertise lies in product management with a focus on trend management, including generic solutions, formulary management, utilization review, genetic benefit management, and safety solutions. Earlier in Joshua's career, a position as Clinical Pharmacist at UPMC Health Plan involved designing and managing medication adherence programs and developing educational communications for prescribers regarding formulary medications. Joshua obtained a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Pittsburgh between 1996 and 2002.
