Marlon Byrd

Marlon Byrd, MS, currently serves as the Director of Physical Security Operations at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a position held since June 2023. Previously, Marlon was the Director of Safety and Security at Joffe Emergency Services Sidwell Friends School from July 2022 to June 2023. Additionally, experience includes serving as the Associate Vice President and Director of Campus Safety at the Maryland Institute College of Art from September 2015 to August 2022 and a long tenure as a Lieutenant at the Ithaca Police Department from July 1991 to January 2015. Marlon also evaluated prior learning experiences for students as an Evaluator at Empire State College from January 2010 to 2015 and taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Tompkins Cortland Community College in early 2010. Educational qualifications include a Master in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati and Executive Training from the FBI National Academy.
