Carlos Sagasta

Chief Financial Officer (Accounting) at Cyxtera

Carlos Sagasta is CFO for Cyxtera. He was formerly CFO of Diversey Inc., where he completed the carve out of the business from Sealed Air and transformed the finance department into a streamlined organization. Prior to this he worked at CompuCom as part of the management team that successfully turned around the performance of the business leading to a successful exit by Thomas H Lee Partners.

Before his tenure at CompuCom, Sagasta held multiple CFO positions in private equity backed businesses including Grupo Corporativo ONO’s turnaround and listing. ONO was ultimately sold to the Vodafone Group for $9 billion and the successful exit of investors Thomas H Lee, Providence Equity Partners and CCMP among others.

Prior to ONO Sagasta worked at Cellnex where he was a key part of the team that turned around Retevision, Spain’s largest wireless infrastructure player and led its M&A strategy leading to a significant improvement in profitability, business line diversification and doubling revenue during that period. Sagasta earlier held several positions and roles within the Technology, Media and Telecom space at La-Caixa, Gramercy Communications Partners, Salomon Smith Barney and Accenture.

Sagasta was a board member at Eutelsat from 2006 to 2010 where he also participated as a member of the Audit Committee leading the succession plan of CEO Giuliano Berretta, and a board member at Hispasat until 2010. Sagasta has also served as a board member for small start-ups in North Carolina and Florida in the I.T. and managed services industry.

Sagasta holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from the Anderson School at UCLA and a BSBA in Finance from Saint Louis University.
