Karen Chavez

Karen Chavez is an experienced operations manager currently with D4DInsights since February 2025. Previously, Karen served as the Latin America and the Caribbean Program Manager at the Global Partnership for Sustainable Development Data from March 2023 to March 2025. With a strong background in data management and sustainable development, Karen held significant roles at the Departamento Administrativo Nacional de Estadística - DANE Colombia, including Head of the SDGs Unit and Advisor at the General Directorate from September 2018 to November 2022. Additional experience includes positions as an Associate Consultant at Leico Consultores, Technical Project Manager at TIC Tank - Universidad del Rosario, and Economic Advisor at the House of Representatives of Colombia. Karen's educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Economics and professional degrees in Finance and International Trade, and Economics, all from Universidad del Rosario, along with studies at Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina.
