Rob Crilly

Rob Crilly is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in political reporting and foreign correspondency. Currently serving as the Chief US Political Correspondent and Senior US Political Reporter for the Daily Mail since May 2021, Crilly covers a wide range of political events from Washington, DC, including the Trump administration and the Biden White House. Previously, Crilly worked as a White House correspondent for the Washington Examiner from April 2019 to April 2021, focusing on President Trump's administration. A freelance journalist from August 2014 to April 2019, Crilly contributed to various international publications and held the position of overnight foreign editor for The Telegraph's website. Additionally, Crilly served as the Afghanistan and Pakistan correspondent for Telegraph Media Group and reported from Islamabad for The Daily Telegraph and The Sunday Telegraph. Early in the career, Crilly reported on East Africa and led a team as the Edinburgh Bureau Chief for The Herald. Crilly holds a BA in Natural Sciences (Genetics) from the University of Cambridge and attended the University of Nottingham for further studies.
