Andreas Nierhaus

Andreas Nierhaus has a diverse work history in the field of business intelligence and consulting. Andreas most recently worked as the Head of BI at Dampskibsselskabet NORDEN A/S starting in December 2019. Before that, they served as a Partner at Apiosoft ApS from February 2015 to February 2023, where they played a key role in developing an artificial intelligence software tool for engineering optimization.

Andreas also held various roles at Nordea and Nordea Markets, including Head of Enterprise BI, Trading Technology at Nordea from May 2018 to December 2019, and Head of BI & ETL Tooling at Nordea Markets from February 2017 to May 2018.

Prior to their time at Nordea, Andreas was the owner of Nierhaus IT from September 2009 to February 2017.

Andreas has also worked as a BI Consultant at Nordea Capital Markets from April 2014 to January 2017, where they maintained and extended an OBIEE installation and provided user support.

Andreas has previously worked for Maersk Oil as a BI Consultant from October 2009 to March 2014, and for Københavns Kommune as a BI Consultant from November 2009 to October 2012. In these roles, they focused on implementing data warehouse solutions and supporting existing BI solutions.

Earlier in their career, Andreas worked as a Testdesigner/Testmanager (Consultant) at DONG Energy from May 2009 to October 2009, and as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Oracle from December 2005 to October 2009.

Andreas Nierhaus completed their Master of Business Development degree from Copenhagen Business School from 2018 to 2021. Prior to that, they pursued Business Administration & Economics studies at the University of Hohenheim. In addition to their formal education, Andreas Nierhaus obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance in October 2017.
