Henning Fotland has a diverse work experience in the shipping and logistics industry. Henning is currently working at DS NORDEN since 2019, where they started as the Head of West Africa and oversaw the establishment of the company's first office in the region. Henning successfully developed commercial ties with West African clients and managed operations in 19 countries. Henning also played a significant role in the bid and implementation of a large-scale port infrastructure project in Gabon. Later, they were promoted to the position of Head of Business Development, Logistics.
Prior to that, Fotland worked at Western Bulk Chartering AS from 2008 to 2019, where they held various roles. Henning started as a Controller in 2008 and later became an Operations Manager, responsible for coordinating voyages in the West Africa region and negotiating towage contracts for the WBC Group. Henning then served as a Chartering Manager and eventually became the General Manager in 2016.
Before joining Western Bulk Chartering AS, Fotland worked at Maersk Line from 2006 to 2008 as a MISE Trainee.
