Jan Rindbo

CEO at NORDEN

Jan Rindbo is the current CEO at NORDEN. Prior to this, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Pacific Basin Shipping Limited from January 2001 to April 2015, where they were responsible for the company's Dry Bulk division. Jan introduced and implemented a new customer-focused business model after joining the company in 2001, and developed a sustainable growth strategy which expanded Pacific Basin's Dry Bulk operation from one office with 15 staff in 2001, to a global network of 16 offices with nearly 300 staff in 2014. The controlled fleet grew from about 15 ships to 230 ships during this time, with a profitable operating track record through market cycles secured via strong interlinked cargo systems. Pacific Basin is the world's largest operator of Handysize bulk carriers and a significant operator of Handymax vessels, servicing over 400 customers globally in the Dry Cargo shipping sector. Prior to their time at Pacific Basin, Rindbo was the Vice President at TORM Bulk US from January 1999 to December 2001.

Jan Rindbo has completed various executive programmes at the INSEAD business school.
