Jaclyn Varga-Wiles

Jaclyn Varga-Wiles is a Senior Research Technician at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, bringing extensive experience in research and biotechnology. Prior to the current role, Jaclyn served as a Research Technician at the University of Connecticut from October 2022 to May 2023, and as a Research Assistant in two separate positions at the same institution from January 2022 to June 2022. During the time at University of Connecticut, Jaclyn successfully classified four novel species of Pseudomonas through various growth assays and biochemical testing methods. Earlier in career, Jaclyn worked as an Associate Pattern Maker at Atelier Nicolas Caito, where responsibilities included draping, pattern making, fitting, and sample cutting. Jaclyn holds a Bachelor of Science in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion/Apparel Design from Pratt Institute.
