Anaum Showkat is a clinical researcher at Yale School of Medicine's Fucito Lab, focusing on reducing the public health burden of substance use. Anaum has also served as a member of the admissions committee for Dartmouth's MPH and MS graduate programs and has contributed to neuroscience research projects in various capacities, including as a cognitive coach for adults with epilepsy. Currently pursuing a Master of Science in Healthcare Research at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, Anaum previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology from the University of Notre Dame. In addition to research, Anaum has experience in editing and media, holding positions such as Arts Editor for The Dartmouth.
