Deepti Hemwani

Deepti Hemwani is the Head of Products at Dasera. Deepti was previously a Sr. Product Manager at Cisco, where they managed Cisco's NGFW, NGIPS, and respective Management Console product lines including Adaptive Security Device Manager (ASDM), Cisco Security Manager (CSM), Firepower Management Center (FMC), Firepower Device Manager (FDM) and Cisco Defense Orchestrator (CDO).

Deepti has conducted market analysis, competitive analysis and translated it into respective management applications roadmap and strategy from on-prem/cloud. Deepti has also worked directly with partners and customers to understand their ecosystem and their buyer/user personas. Deepti has used that learning to design product workflows with the UX team.

Deepti has led product transformation, created strategy, and action plans to change the UX of FMC resulting in improved market perception of a decades old management console to a modern UX driven application. Deepti has increased the adoption of the web-based, on-box management console to more than 2000 customers in 2 years.

Deepti has also led the device API strategy for cloud and 3rd party integrations. Deepti has led and inspired Engineering teams’ efforts to deliver on those requirements and designs. Deepti has produced case studies, presentations, & other materials for GTM strategy to help evangelize the product. Deepti has partnered with Sales and SE teams for effective introduction of product into the market.

Deepti Hemwani has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineer from University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from University of Mumbai. Deepti also has certification from The 280 Group in Optimal Product Management and Product Marketing as well as certification from CompTIA in CompTIA Security ce.

They are on a team with Monica Malhotra - CFO, Noah Johnson - Co-founder & CTO, and Parth Mukherjee - VP Marketing. Deepti Hemwani reports to Ani Chaudhuri, Co-founder & CEO.
