Michael Florip

Michael Florip is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in various roles. As the External Vice President of the Data Science Society at Berkeley, Michael has focused on creating data-centric opportunities for the UC Berkeley community, successfully securing sponsorship from Uber. Michael's consulting experience includes a Project Manager role for the Universal Health Services Consulting Committee and Vice President of Sourcing, where eight project clients and six sponsors were signed. Michael has contributed to social initiatives as a Data Science Consultant with Teachers Without Borders and Futures Without Violence. Current roles include Machine Learning Research Intern at Honda Research Institute USA, Inc. and Course Staff for Data 8: Foundations of Data Science at UC Berkeley. Michael is also the Founder of LearnPlex Education and has held various internships in data science, business analysis, and product management across prominent organizations. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from UC Berkeley and graduated from Lynbrook High School.
