Alexandra Coates is the Managing Director, Technology Services - Australia at Datacom. Alexandra has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, including roles at Datacom and Fujitsu Australia.

Alexandra started their career at Datacom in July 2010 as the Director of Datacom Systems Victoria. In this role, they were responsible for the Datacom Victorian business, including Pre-Sales, Business Development, Strategy, Datacentre, Project, Application and Managed Services delivery. Alexandra had full P&L responsibility across all these disciplines, with a focus on sustainable business growth, strategy development, customer satisfaction and engagement, continuous improvement and ensuring all key deliverables were maintained.

In April 2010, Alexandra moved to Fujitsu Australia as the General Manager of Managed Services for the ACT region. In this role, they managed a team of > 500 staff across many disciplines including Service Desks, technical engineers, architects and then programme management and Service Delivery Management. Alexandra also managed the associated P&L, client deliverables and contracts and initiatives around productivity, profitability and efficiency.

Alexandra has a proven track record in delivering results and driving change within organisations. Alexandra is a strategic thinker with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and engagement. Alexandra is passionate about developing people and teams and has a proven ability to build high-performing organisations.

Alexandra Coates completed a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in International Management with German at the University of Bath. Alexandra also attended Greshams School.

Alexandra Coates reports to Greg Davidson, Group CEO. They are on a team with Bob Peebles - Head of Strategy, Australia, Mike Porteous - Head of Corporate Strategy, and Quentin Lowcay - Head of Legal and Commercial.
