Anderson Mesquita

Anderson Mesquita started their work experience in 2009 as the Co-Founder and Senior Ruby on Rails Developer at Promine. From 2010 to 2013, they worked as a Research Fellow at the Inter-American Development Bank. In 2013, they joined ThoughtWorks as a Consultant and held various roles, including Lead Software Engineer from 2013 to 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Consultant with ThoughtWorks at companies such as Rackspace, Hewlett-Packard, Moody's Analytics, CDK Global, AutoScout24, and Spotify. In 2020, they joined Dataminr as a Principal Software Engineer.

Anderson Mesquita obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the Federal University of Ceara, where they studied from 2004 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including "Functional Program Design in Scala" and "Functional Programming Principles in Scala" from Coursera Course Certificates in August 2016 and July 2016 respectively. Anderson also holds certifications in "Cryptography I" from Coursera in July 2013, and "Model Thinking" from Coursera in April 2012.
