Catalina Gobantes

Catalina Gobantes is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in project development and management. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Datawheel since January 2017, Catalina has also held roles such as Project Coordinator for DataChile. Prior to Datawheel, Catalina was the Director of Education, Science and Innovation Studies at Identidad y Comunicación Verde from April 2013 to November 2016, where significant research projects on technology transfer and industry integration of researchers were undertaken. Catalina's background includes social anthropology coordination at Fundación Patrimonio Desierto de Atacama and co-principal research in audiovisual projects. Catalina's educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Universidad de Chile, a Master's degree in Urban Development from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and a diploma in Public Policy Analysis from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile / J-PAL.
