John Vaterlaus

John Vaterlaus serves as General Counsel and Senior Counsel at David Evans and Associates, Inc. since February 2022, following a lengthy tenure at HDR from August 2005 to February 2022, where international legal work in alternative delivery was a focus. Additionally, John Vaterlaus contributed to academia as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha from 2013 to 2014, teaching a course on the Legal, Ethical and Social Environment in the MBA program. Early career experiences include serving as a Law Clerk in the U.S. Department of Justice's Criminal Division from 2003 to 2005 and working as a Tax Examiner for the Internal Revenue Service from 2001 to 2002. John Vaterlaus holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Health Law from Loyola University Chicago School of Law, a Juris Doctor from Creighton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brigham Young University.
