Ollie Waddington

Ollie Waddington currently serves as a Media Rights Executive for Broadcast Partnerships at DAZN, where responsibilities include overseeing the sales and distribution of DAZN properties across 15 European markets, including the Nordic region, Central & Eastern Europe, Southern Europe, and the CIS region. Notable rights managed include high-profile partnerships with FIFA, UEFA, FIBA, WTA, and Matchroom Boxing. Prior to this role, Waddington was a Senior Runner for World Athletics Productions during the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest and served as Lead Runner for the Host Broadcaster at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon, where management of a team of production runners was a key responsibility. Waddington began involvement in athletics broadcasting as a Production Runner and Camera Assistant at the 2019 IAAF World Athletics Championships in Doha. Academically, Waddington holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History of Art from the University of Bristol and completed A-Levels and an EPQ at Bradfield College, focusing on History, Economics, and History of Art.
