Michael Aumann

Michael Aumann is an accomplished financial executive currently serving as Group Finance Director at De La Rue since October 2023. Prior experience includes holding the position of VP, Group Financial Controller at Cineworld Group Plc from April 2022 to October 2023, where significant contributions were made to the group's financial restructuring during Chapter 11 cases in the United States. Prior to this, Michael worked at Reckitt from March 2018 to April 2022, initially as Finance Director - Corporate Accounting, providing expert advice on corporate transactions and managing the Group IFRS Accounting Manual, before leading global finance functions with a budget of approximately £500 million. Michael's career began at PwC, where extensive experience was gained as an audit director specializing in oil & gas, mining, and renewable energy from December 2001 to February 2018. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance, both from the University of Melbourne.
