Roeland Willems

Roeland Willems is a skilled mechanical engineer with extensive experience in various engineering roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a werkvoorbereider at De Lijn since October 2024, Roeland previously worked at Maandag® Belgium as a mechanical designer at Sweco from March 2022 to September 2024, and held positions as a mechanical designer at BTS nv for BASF and FT Solutions BVBA. Prior experience includes consultancy in engineering roles at USG Professionals Belgium and mechanical engineering at MIDES and Witzenmann Benelux. Roeland began their career as a production engineer at Witzenmann Benelux and gained initial experience as a designer of electrical schematics at Egemin Automation. Roeland Willems holds a Master of Science in Industrial Sciences: Electromechanics from Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, obtained between 2004 and 2008.
