Ronan Lucas

Ronan Lucas has extensive experience in the sports and retail industries, currently serving as Directeur and Responsable exploitation et service client at DECATHLON FRANCE since March 2013, where responsibilities include managing safety and store operations, organizing store relocation, and overseeing various retail functions. Prior roles at DECATHLON also include managing water and ski departments and leading a team focused on sales strategy. Before his time in retail, Ronan was a high-level competitive athlete in canoe-kayak slalom for a decade, achieving top rankings in national competitions and participating in international events. Additional experience includes sports management roles at the Mairie de Champs sur Marne and as an intern manager at Elbow Lane Day Camp, along with coaching and training positions in canoe-kayak. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Sports Management from Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée and a Bachelor’s degree in Education and Motor Skills from the same institution.
