Christopher Mondry

Christopher Mondry is an experienced Chief Engineer with a comprehensive background in broadcast engineering and communications systems. Currently serving at Defense Media Activity since July 2019, Christopher oversees preventive and corrective maintenance for video and radio broadcast equipment, as well as satellite TV distribution within Naval Station Rota and Moron Air Base. Prior to this role, Christopher served in the US Navy from March 2004 to March 2023, reaching the rank of Petty Officer First Class. Notably, during tenure aboard USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) from April 2014 to June 2019, Christopher was responsible for a wide array of communications equipment, including telephone systems and satellite communication systems. Additionally, Christopher held the position of Command Career Counselor at NCTAMSLANT DET Rota from April 2011 to April 2014.
