Haakon Thue Lie

Haakon Thue Lie is an experienced IP management consultant currently serving at Dehns Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys since January 2021, and as an adjunct Associate Professor II at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) since September 2020. With a robust background in the field, Haakon co-founded and was the managing director of Leogriff AS from 2002 to 2021, providing consulting services in IP management. Previous roles include managing director at ip.coop (IPR SA), vice president at Boxer Technologies, and various engineering and management positions at Telenor. Haakon holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Economics and Technology Management from NTNU, alongside a Master of Management from BI Norwegian Business School, and additional degrees in pedagogy and telematics from NTNU.
