Veronica Bassagoda

Veronica Bassagoda is a highly skilled data scientist and machine learning manager with a robust background in handling complex data problems across various industries. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Delivery Hero, Veronica focuses on creating long-term visions and establishing effective short-term roadmaps for data challenges. Previous experience includes significant roles at Globant, where Veronica led machine learning teams and oversaw projects applying computer vision techniques, achieving recognition as a top leader. With extensive experience in predictive analytics, user profiling, and data analysis from previous positions at organizations such as The Appraisal Lane, Plan Ceibal, and PriceStats, Veronica has also contributed to academic research at Stanford University while pursuing a Master of Science in Engineering at Universidad de la República, complemented by a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the same institution.
