Ed Ward

President, Client Product Group at Dell Technologies

Ed Ward is currently the President of the Client Product Group at Dell Technologies. Ed has been with Dell since April 1995 and has held various positions within the company, most notably Vice President of Engineering for the Servers, Enterprise Systems Group. In this role, they were responsible for all worldwide engineering and development activities for the PowerEdge product line. Ed successfully developed and executed a plan to build an offshore design center in Bangalaore, India and ramped from 0-200 people in the first year.

Prior to their work at Dell, Ed Ward was an Engineering Manager at Motorola, Inc. where they were responsible for all engineering and development of the Envoy Personal Wireless Communicator, one of the first wireless PDA's. This included electrical, mechanical and embedded software engineering.

Ed Ward has also served as President of EDW & Associates, LLC and as Senior VLSI Design Engineer at Graphics Communications America, Ltd. Most recently, they were Vice President of Engineering - Shared Components & Technical Services at NCR Corporation from November 2009 to February 2013.

After completing an Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, Ed Ward became certified in Impromptu Speaking from LinkedIn and Black Executive Leadership Program from McKinsey & Company. Ed began their educational career with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering & Computer Science from University of Colorado Boulder.

Ed Ward works with John Moody - VP, Dell Technology Services, Kevin Whitlow - SVP, ISG Services & Engineering, and Andrea Bogado - Director, Strategy and Planning & Chief of Staff to Chief Customer Officer. Ed Ward reports to Karen Quintos, Chief Customer Officer.
