Penny Herscher

Penny serves on four public company boards: Lumentum, Faurecia SA, PROS and Verint Systems and one private company board, Delphix. Over the past 20 years, she has served as President & CEO of technology companies in groundbreaking new markets. Based in Silicon Valley, she took her first company, Simplex Solutions, public and then later sold it to Cadence Design Systems in 2002. After Simplex, she sold her second company, FirstRain, to Ignite Technologies in 2017. Prior to Simplex, Penny was a member of the executive leadership team at Synopsys, and lead the company through a successful IPO, on the way to becoming the #1 EDA company in the world at the time. Penny chairs the Compensation Committee at Lumentum, serves on the Governance Committees at Verint, PROS, and Lumentum and serves on the Compensation (Management) Committees at Faurecia and PROS. She has deep expertise in leadership, governance and executive compensation.
