Sam Detrent

Sam DeTrent has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sam is currently working as a UI Engineer Lead at Deltatre since October 2022. Before that, they founded and served as the CEO of Brand Gear since June 2018. In 2020, Sam was a Technical Director at Experience Innovation Ltd, where they launched a mobile app platform targeting motoracing teams and competitions. Sam also worked as an FE Developer at Czech Publisher Exchange – CPEx from February 2020 to January 2021, prototyping and maintaining a consent management platform. Additionally, Sam founded and served as the Pit Boss at Expats BBQ Bar, Prague's first Slow Smoked American BBQ restaurant, from May 2014 to December 2018. Sam has also held roles such as Solution Architect at Symphony No. 9, JavaScript Developer at ADP, and UI/UX Designer at Loews Hotels & Co. Early in their career, Sam founded WIYD Inc, a digital out-of-home content platform and served as its CEO, Solution Architect, Developer, and Designer from March 2006 to June 2012. Sam also worked as a Web Designer at Grey Healthcare Group in 2006.

From 1997 to 2000, Sam DeTrent attended the University of Iowa, focusing on Marketing and Computer Science.
