Luciana Prado

Partner of Demarest’s Insurance and Reinsurance practice, Luciana Prado holds specializations in Civil Procedure and Contract Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (PUC-SP), where she also completed her bachelor’s degree in Law. Luciana has more than 20 years of experience in regulatory consultancy for the Insurance and Reinsurance, Supplementary Pension (open and closed) and Supplementary Health sectors, serving clients on issues related to the drafting and negotiation of distribution contracts for supplementary insurance and pension products, analysis of reinsurance contracts, negotiation of partnership contracts in supplementary health plans and in spin-off, merger, withdrawal of sponsorship and transfer of management processes for closed supplementary pension plans. Luciana also operates in mergers and acquisitions and corporate restructuring of such sectors. She is listed in the main national and international legal publications, such as Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, Who’s Who Legal and Análise Advocacia 500.
