Roman Phifer

Roman Phifer was born on October 18, 1968 in Newark, New Jersey. Roman played football at North Carolina State University from 1987-1990. Roman was drafted in the 2nd round of the 1991 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Rams. Roman played linebacker for the Rams from 1991-1992, the New York Jets from 1999-2001, the New England Patriots from 2001-2004, and the New York Giants in 2005. Roman was a member of the Patriots team that won Super Bowl XXXVI in 2002. Roman retired from playing in 2006 and became an assistant coach for the Denver Broncos from 2009-2011. In 2016, they became the Director of Player Development at their alma mater, UCLA. Roman currently serves as a Senior Executive Scout for the Denver Broncos.
