Sean A. Mirski is a foreign policy advisor, historian, and lawyer who has worked on national security issues across multiple U.S. presidential administrations. Currently serving as Senior Policy Advisor to the Deputy Secretary of State, Mirski was previously an associate at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer LLP and served as Special Counsel to the General Counsel at the U.S. Department of Defense, earning the Office of the Secretary of Defense’s Award for Outstanding Achievement. Mirski has authored works on American history and international relations, including *We May Dominate the World* (2023) and edited *Crux of Asia* (2013). A term member of the Council on Foreign Relations, Mirski graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School and holds a master’s degree in international relations from the University of Chicago.
