Kemper Florin

Kemper Florin serves as the Senior Director of Development for the Arts at DePaul University since April 2022, strategically advancing a major gifts program for the Theatre School, School of Music, and DePaul Art Museum. Concurrently, Kemper has been a Soprano for Music of the Baroque since April 2019. Previously, as Director of Development for The People's Music School from November 2019 to April 2022, Kemper successfully secured over $2.5 million in annual contributed revenue. As Executive Director at Playmakers Laboratory Theatre from February to November 2019, Kemper led organizational vision, managed development functions, and introduced a new name and branding for the organization. Prior experience includes serving as Director of Education and Engagement at Cincinnati Opera from November 2012 to June 2018, where innovative educational programs were developed, and as School Director at Music Training Center from September 2009 to June 2012. Kemper holds a Master's degree in Music, Vocal Performance and Literature from the Eastman School of Music and a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
