Denis Makagonov

Denis Makagonov has a strong background in data architecture and software development. Denis began their career at EPAM Systems as a Software Architect & Developer in 2007. From 2010 to 2011, Denis worked at NaviCon as a Software Architect.

In 2011, they joined Forex Club and took on various roles including Software Architect & Developer, Reporting & DWH Group Leader, and Data Architect. During their time at Forex Club, Denis was responsible for managing data lakes, data warehouses, and integrating data flows.

In 2019, Denis joined Deriv.com as the Head of Data and Analytics, where they led data-related initiatives and strategies. Denis then transitioned to Planner 5D in 2021 as a Data Architect, where they worked until 2023.

Denis is currently serving as the Head of CRO at Deriv.

Denis Makagonov attended Karagandy State Technical University from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Specialist degree in Information Technology. In addition, they received certifications such as SAFe 4.0 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2017 and Developing Business Process and Integration Solutions by Using Microsoft Biztalk Server 2010 from Microsoft in 2011.
