Shelli Allen

Shelli Allen is the Vice President of Enrollment Services at Des Moines Area Community College. Shelli has over 25 years of experience in higher education, including working as the Vice President of Student Development at East Central College. In this role, they were responsible for a broad range of programs and services for students, as well as supervising all personnel assigned to the Student Development division. Additionally, they served as the institutional compliance coordinator for federal student-related laws and regulations, including Title IV, Title IX, Section 504 & ADA.

Shelli is a strong advocate for community college students and has been recognized for their work in this area. In 2013, they were the recipient of the Missouri Community College Association Administrative Professional Award. Shelli is committed to helping students achieve their academic and career goals and works diligently to ensure that they have the support they need to be successful.

Shelli Allen has an ABD in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from the University of Iowa, and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Truman State University.

Their manager is Robert Denson, President & CEO. They work with Wade Robinson - Director, Student Development, Drew Nelson - Boone Campus Provost, and Randy Gabriel - Director, Career Advantage CTE.
