Mary J. Turner

Mary J. Turner has served as Executive Vice President of Designer Brands and President of Designer Brands Canada since March 2020, where she leads the Shoe Company and Shoe Warehouse banners, as well as DSW’s merchandising and operations in Canada. Prior to our acquisition of Town Shoes Limited (now known as Designer Brands Canada Inc.), Ms. Turner joined Town Shoes Limited as Chief Merchant, and was later promoted to Chief Operating Officer, where she led merchandising, planning, marketing, stores and e-commerce functions. Ms. Turner then served as Senior Vice President of Designer Brands and President of Designer Brands Canada. Prior to joining the Company, she was an executive with Hudson’s Bay Company for nearly 20 years and held a variety of merchandising roles with Holt Renfrew earlier in her career.
