David Bunting

David Bunting is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in the financial sector, currently serving as the Head of Legal for Sales & Trading - Global at Deutsche Bank since June 2004. Bunting has held various key positions at Deutsche Bank, including Head of Legal for Sales & Trading - London and Head of OTC Rates Legal. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Bunting worked as a Capital Markets Lawyer at Hogan Lovells from March 2001 to June 2004 and gained experience as a Pupil Barrister at Erskine Chambers and 3 Stone Buildings. Bunting began a legal career as a Researcher at the Law Commission of England and Wales. Bunting holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Lancaster University, a Bar Vocational Course from Inns of Court School of Law, and has completed executive education in Economics and management at the University of St. Gallen. Additionally, Bunting earned a Diploma in Investment Compliance from The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in 2021.
