Andreas Recknagel

Andreas Recknagel is an experienced IT governance professional currently serving as the Head of IT-Governance and Dezernatsleiter at Deutsche Rentenversicherung Bund since August 2020. Prior to this role, Andreas worked at Accenture from January 2006 to August 2020, progressing from Consultant and Manager to Senior Manager, where the focus was on leading innovative teams and delivering consulting programs for clients in the German public sector. Earlier experience includes a position as an External Consultant at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, where contributions were made in knowledge management and IT planning, along with internships at AHK Bolivia and Dolphin Telecom. Andreas holds a Diplom degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik from Technische Universität Dresden, completed in 2004.
