Sophie Thackray

Sophie Thackray has a diverse work experience across various industries and roles. Sophie started their career at Electric Sky as a Research Assistant in 2011. In 2012, they worked as a Runner at Universal Studios Hollywood. The following year, they served as the Head Photographer and managed lighting/sound at Camp Seneca Lake. In 2014, they worked as an Activity Leader at Manor Courses.

In 2016, Sophie joined Sparta Global, initially as a Business Development Executive and later as a Digital Content Producer. At Sparta Global, they played a significant role in establishing their IT Training Academy, which aimed to address the industry's skills shortage.

In 2017, Sophie transitioned to Mediaplanet and took on the role of Project Manager. Sophie managed global campaigns across various media platforms and collaborated with renowned organizations such as the World Health Organisation and United Nations to distribute content.

Currently, Sophie is employed at Dewynters, where they have progressed from Content Manager to Deputy Head of Content and now serves as the Content Director.

Sophie Thackray earned their Bachelor's Degree in Film Studies from the University of Exeter between 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they completed their A Levels at Central Sussex College from 2011 to 2012. Finally, they attended Hurstpierpoint College from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained their GCSE degree.
