Moustapha Niang currently serves as the Chief of Party for Mercy Corps, overseeing a five-year, US$ 105 million USAID BHA-funded Resilience Food Security Activity. Previously, Moustapha held Chief of Party positions at Chemonics International for the USAID DRC WASH Activity and at CARE for the USAID Hamzari project, both focused on improving essential services for vulnerable populations. Earlier experience includes roles at ACDI/VOCA, the International Fertilizer Development Center, Counterpart International, Africare, and UNESCO, where Moustapha managed various USAID-funded projects related to food security, water and sanitation, and technical cooperation. Moustapha Niang's extensive expertise spans over three decades in project management, technical assistance, and business development in the fields of agriculture, livelihoods, and food security. Moustapha earned education from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, Dschang University, and Georgetown University.
