Ed Plummer currently serves as Chief Marketing Officer at DICK’S Sporting Goods. In this role, Ed is responsible for the Company’s overall marketing strategy and implementation, including building the DICK’S brand, all traffic-driving elements and continued digital transformation. He is also a member of the Board of Directors for The DICK’S Sporting Goods Foundation. Ed joined the Company in 2010 as Vice President of Customer Relationship Management in marketing, and in 2016, he was promoted to Senior Vice President – Team Sports HQ. In February 2019, he assumed the role of interim Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Vice President – Team Sports HQ. Prior to joining DICK’S, he spent 12 years at American Express in various leadership roles.
