Levon Gevorgyan

Group Chief Legal Officer at Digitain

Levon Gevorgyan is the Group Chief Legal Officer at Digitain. Prior to this, they served as Senior Manager and Head of Law Practice in Armenia at EY from November 2016 to May 2021. From April 2014 to November 2016, they were Managing Partner at Legelata Law Firm. Prior to that, they served as Managing Partner at Arete Law Firm LLC from November 2013 to April 2014.

From June 2010 to August 2010, Levon interned at the Office of Legal Affairs at the United Nations, where they contributed to the research on the issue of “Effects of Armed Conflicts on Treaties” (an International Law Commission topic), worked on the preparation of the Repertory of Practice of the Charter of the United Nations (supplement no. 10 of article 13(1)(a)), and contributed to the editorial work over the Russian translation of a UN compendium of anti-terrorism conventions.

Prior to their work at the United Nations, Levon served as a Foreign Legal Specialist at Public International Law & Policy Group from September 2009 to January 2010. Levon then worked as a Senior Associate at Harutiunian & Partners Law Firm from October 2010 to July 2013. From September 2008 to October 2010, they served as an Expert for Criminal and Administrative Cases in the Department of Relations with the ECHR at the Ministry of Justice of Armenia.

Levon Gevorgyan has a Ph.D. in International Law from Yerevan State University, an LL.M. in International Legal Studies from American University Washington College of Law, a Master of Jurisprudence in International Law from Yerevan State University, and a Bachelor of Jurisprudence in Law from Yerevan State University.

Levon Gevorgyan reports to Vardges Vardanyan, Founder & CEO. Levon Gevorgyan works with Aregnaz Hakobyan - Head of Marketing Department, Ashot Sahakyan - Head, International Relations, and Artak Arakelyan - CFO.
