Global eCommerce enabler Digital River who offers API-powered solutions so brands can sell directly to their customers has announced it has promoted Ted Rogers from Vice President of Strategic Marketing to Chief Marketing Officer. In the role, Rodgers will be responsible for Digital River’s global marketing strategy and efforts and report directly to company CEO Adam Coyle.
“Ted is an exceptional marketing executive with extensive industry knowledge and a unique perspective on our company,” said Coyle. “His general management background, marketing expertise, and ability to drive collaboration will enable him to take our marketing functions to the next level. We are excited to have Ted take on the CMO role at this stage of our evolution, as we continue to build on the sales momentum we’re experiencing from the combination of our completely refactored platforms and the global demand for eCommerce services.”
Rogers has over 20 years of experience in eCommerce, marketing management, and business development. He joined the team at Digital River three years ago and has served in various senior marketing roles where he has helped define marketing strategy as well as positively affect growth. Before his time at Digital River, Rogers worked at PayCheck Direct, Bluestem Brands, and FICO.
