Emily Colborne, M.Sc.E., P.Eng., has a diverse work experience background. Emily started their professional career in 2011 as a Summer Student at the Department of Transportation. Emily then worked at the University of New Brunswick, where they served as a Research Assistant from 2012 to 2014 and as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant from January to April 2014. At Western University, Emily worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant from September 2014 to April 2016. Emily gained experience as a Dance Teacher at Dance Steps from December 2015 to November 2016. Emily then pursued their passion for dance further as the Owner/Director of Atikokan Dance Studio from October 2016 to August 2018. Emily also contributed to Atikokan as a Pharmacy Assistant from August 2017 to August 2018. Currently, Emily works at Dillon Consulting Limited as a Water Resources Engineer and a Civil Engineer in Training, starting in February 2019.
