Eliot Zalevsky

Eliot Zalevsky, CFA, has extensive work experience in portfolio management and credit risk management. Eliot is currently employed at Dimensional Fund Advisors, where they hold the position of Portfolio Manager and Vice President since January 2023. Prior to this, they had served as a Portfolio Manager and Associate Portfolio Manager with the same company.

Before joining Dimensional Fund Advisors, Eliot worked at Freddie Mac, starting in April 2014 as a Professional in Capital Markets Credit Risk Management and later moving to the role of Associate. During their time at Freddie Mac, they played a significant role in enhancing the overall credit review process, building analytical tools, and expanding credit coverage.

In addition, Eliot had gained valuable experience as a Model Validation Intern at Freddie Mac in 2011, where they contributed to simplifying the error tracking process and analyzing mortgage statistics predictions.

Eliot also had earlier roles as a Finance Assistant at the Software Engineering Institute and a Marketing Assistant at Invention Home.

Eliot Zalevsky, CFA obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Carnegie Mellon University - Tepper School of Business between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at Carnegie Mellon University from 2008 to 2012, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business with an additional major in Statistics. In terms of certifications, Eliot Zalevsky obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2016, and they obtained the Series 63 and Series 7 certifications from FINRA in 2021.
