Jason L Zimmerman

Jason L Zimmerman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategy and transformation, particularly within Discover Financial Services since 2012. As Director of Strategy and Transformation in the Office of the CIO, Jason led a significant organizational transformation focused on customer-centric and agile processes, and played a pivotal role in founding the Discover Technology Academy. Previously, as Senior Manager of Special Operations in the Office of the COO, Jason developed impactful strategies for the C-suite and established an in-house consulting practice. Earlier roles included Manager of Strategy and Analysis and consulting experience at Mercer and Ennis Knupp & Associates, where Jason specialized in organizational effectiveness and behavioral economics. Jason holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Finance, Accounting, and Economics from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.
