Laura Smith

Laura Smith is the VP of Global Human Resources at DISYS. Laura has over 30 years of experience in Human Resources, including 16+ years at Edelman, where they were the Executive Director of Human Resources. Laura has a wealth of experience in all areas related to the talent life cycle, from talent attraction and onboarding to training and development, employee relations and retention. Laura is a recognized leader in the HR field, and has been instrumental in building first-class HR functions across various companies. Laura is a member of Edelman's U.S. Executive Leadership Team and the firm's Global Talent Subcommittee.

After completing their undergraduate degree, Laura Smith pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from American University - Kogod School of Business. Laura then went on to obtain certification from SHRM in SHRM-SCP and certification from HR Certification Institute - HRCI in SPHR.
