Alex Kaufman

Alex Kaufman is the current VP of Data & Analytics at Divvy Homes. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Data Science & Analytics at the company from October 2021 to January 2022. Kaufman also has experience working with Netflix in various data-focused roles. From March 2019 to October 2021, they served as the Manager of Subscriber Analytics for Netflix's EMEA region, where they were responsible for subscriber growth forecasting. From July 2017 to March 2019, Kaufman worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Netflix, during which time they designed a method to estimate the signup impact of title launches. Prior to their work at Netflix, Kaufman was an Economist and Data Scientist at Opendoor.com from August 2015 to May 2017. Alex also founded Night School in September 2013, which they ran until December 2014. Kaufman's career began as an Economist at the Federal Reserve Board in February 2011, where they worked until August 2013.

Alex Kaufman's educational career began at Harvard University, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics. Alex then went on to earn a Master's degree in Economics from Harvard University. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics from Harvard University.
