Paula Coughlan

Paula Coughlan has been the Chief HR Officer at Dixons Carphone since 2019.

Paula previously worked at McDonald's from July 2014 to March 2019 as the Corporate VP and Chief People Strategy Officer, Global.

Before that, they were at PepsiCo from December 2005 to June 2014 as the Organisation & Mgmt Development Senior Director, Europe.

Coughlan started their career in 1997 as a Senior HR Manager at Motability Operations and held that position until 2004.

Paula Coughlan graduated with a postgraduate diploma in legal practice from the University of Birmingham with distinction (first class honours). Paula then went on to obtain their bachelor of laws (LLB) from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd.

They are on a team with Erik Sønsterud - CEO, International, Ed Connolly - Chief Commercial Officer, and Moira Thomas - Director of Group Sustainability. Their manager is Alex Baldock, Group CEO.
