Bjørn Dale

Bjørn Dale is the current Managing Director at DNO ASA. Bjørn has held this position since 2014.

Dale began their career as an Operations and Navigation Officer in the Royal Norwegian Navy. Bjørn then transitioned to academia, holding positions as a Lecturer in Law at The Norwegian School of Business, a Research Assistant and Editor at the Center for European Law at the University of Oslo, and a Lecturer/Supervisor/Examiner at the Faculty of Law at the University of Oslo.

In 2008, Dale left academia to join Wikborg Rein as an Associate. Bjørn then became Head of Corporate Development and General Counsel at Folkia AS in 2011. In between their time at Wikborg Rein and Folkia AS, Dale also acted as Managing Director at DNO International ASA from 2011 to 2014.

Most recently, Dale has been Managing Director at DNO ASA since 2014.

Bjørn Dale holds an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics, a Master of Law from the University of Oslo (UiO), and a law degree from Cornell Law School. Bjørn also has a master's degree in law from the University of Oslo (UiO) and a law degree from the University of Cambridge. In addition, they hold a degree in philosophy from the University of Oslo (UiO). Bjørn is also a graduate of the Royal Norwegian Naval Officers Training School.
