Ilias Minas

Ilias Minas is a Mechanical Engineer at DNV since September 2021, with prior experience as a PhD Researcher at Loughborough University focusing on automotive drivetrain tribodynamics and NVH phenomena from April 2017 to July 2021. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University, a Master's degree in Advanced Engineering Materials from The University of Manchester, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Thessaly. Additional experience includes roles as a Postgraduate Researcher at the Manchester Institute of Biotechnology, a Soldier and Rate Engineer in the Greek Army, an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Materials Laboratory at the University of Thessaly, and an intern at City Constructions. Research efforts have encompassed areas such as noise and vibration analysis, electrochemical experiments with graphene, and mechanical design and testing.
