Richard Denissen

Richard Denissen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in strategy consulting and leadership roles within the energy and industrial sectors. Currently serving as a Strategy Consultant at DNV since October 2016, Richard has overseen the strategy development for the Smart Cable Guard unit and managed integrated design projects across the energy sector. Previous positions include Director of Smart Cable Guard, where Richard led the creation of a technical monitoring solution for power cables, and Service Line Leader for Operational Excellence, managing a global innovation portfolio. Prior to DNV, Richard held significant leadership roles at MaxGrip and Hertel, focusing on business development and operational excellence in the Asia Pacific region. With a strong foundation in engineering, evidenced by a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Saxion University, Richard has further enhanced professional skills through multiple IMD educational programs.
